damnit I'm stressed... for being inefficient

I'm just one malted milk biscuit away from finishing the whole packet, which I bought yesterday. I'm full, yet I can't stop munching. Must. Stop. Impulse. Snacking. SERIOUSLY. How bad things get! I'm getting nowhere with my freaking ASS-ignment and thinking that munching will help get my mind on it, which obviously failed, I'm forever going to stay a terrible student with a big hip*. :(

It's currently snowing quite heavily outside. December first and I'm already seeing snow-covered roofs in London. C'est la folie! Hehe I miss learning French :)

*A moment on the lips, forever on the hips - this rings in my ears after I stop snacking. Every time!

snood

It's freaking cold in here! The heaters in my room and the hallway, which is right in front of my door (which is open), are both switched on and I'm still freezing my brains out. Seriously. I can feel my skull contracting in this super cruel, bone-chilling coldness! Metoffice (weather forecast) has been putting up updates that snow has fallen on the other parts of the UK. Tomorrow is predicted to be London's turn. I'm definitely not walking out with tights and shorts. My dressing sounds crazy ("tights in Winter?!") but normally 2 layers (100+ denier) of them is sufficient to keep my legs warm... at this time of the year. I guess this year's different. It gets more worrying after I read this:
Some of the snow showers have been frequently heavy with hail and thunder mixed in.

...global warming at play? 2012? (2012 is a freaking scary yet entertaining movie!)

My head is kind of woozy right now. It might be because of the spontaneous coldness but I have a gut feeling that it's because of the weird smell coming from the (BLUE!!) snood I bought today. I made the purchase without realising that it's 100% acrylic. It would have been fine even if I do realise it (it's NAVY blue!), but the smell is really putting me off. Is it paranoia at play or am I really feeling restless? I'm really hesitating at the thought of returning it :(

It IS quite ordinary looking... and acrylic smelling. (I shall assume it's the smell of acrylic)

Let's hope it doesn't snow tomorrow! I'm planning to wedge 2 hours of rush-shopping (more of running errands than anything really) in between the 4 hours break I usually get on Tuesday~ :D

untitled

A girl will stop sucking her lollipop when it loses its sweetness. A boy will switch to another game when he gets bored of the current one. Question: are you a grown up?

got to get this out of my chest

Recent discovery. I hate it whenever I use "because you did that to me before" as a reason for why I did undesirable deeds to you. It's childish, I'm becoming childish and I don't want to be childish! Plus, do unto others what you would have others do unto you (Matthew 7:120). :)

I find it highly amusing...

Intended for Shaun to try imagine the whole act, accent and everything:

P said, "eh R ah! Your chocolate milk..."

Just in case I forgot. I really hope you get the humour!! It's so cute.

It makes me want to watch Despicable Me at this instant! The little girl is too adorable.

Can I have some tea please?

"Would you like sugar in your tea?" I politely declined. He smiled to himself and said, "I thought you'd say 'I've enough sugar in my life'".

OH EMM GEE!! Who would have thought of that.

fate is up to us to create

It's raining snowflakes outside!!! Egawd, the clouds are shaking off their dandruff down to the surface of the Earth. No doubt that it's a beautiful sight, especially at night. It's especially, excruciatingly cold too. My fingers are so stiff because of the cold that I cSnt tupe prierjkly,,, Joke, that's just for illustration.

Tomorrow should be quite an interesting day trotting across the white streets. Grocery shopping is in my morning agenda... at least for now it is. If I were to embark on the journey (assuming that I'll ever get out of hiding under the pretty thick and dense duvet), I'll definitely slap on layers of clothing and my boots (with "hairy" lining). I really hope the layers will keep me from freezing my skull off. *fingers crossed*

"What's meant to be is meant to be" -this phrase will be the cause of my misery soon.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh I'm posting so much jargon. I shall apply some body butter and head off to bed. Like now.

what's coming in the year?

Apparently the previous post is horrendous in terms of its grammar. I apologize if it affects your reading pleasure somehow but my grammar has always been horrible. In fact, since Primary School and I do wonder why I never do anything to it... I suppose I am satisfied that I've earned my B3 back in good O-ld days (pun!!!). This is so bad for me, by being satisfied with I have. :P

Anyhoo, I am really glad to hear feedbacks about my posts! Good ones especially. :)

Oh crap... I just missed the day to wish you guys a happy new year. I do hope the first day of the year was at least a happy one! But most importantly, of course, is the remaining of the year. It's definitely full of uncertainty. Academic direction, love, friendship, health, wealth... anything and everything can happen. As the t-shirt made in memory of Mrs Caroline Lee (previous SMSS principal who passed away due to cardiac arrest) - LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST. Because, by the end of time, we'll have little to regret about. I'm one to practice that advice imprinted on the t-shirt (sad that I didn't bring it over) because I am a person who have been complaining/regretting way too much for my own good. I'm turning 19 this year and I am starting to realise that I'm OLD. Wow. My naive & carefree youth is coming to an end and the adult stage is incoming. It's unbelievable issn't it! Time is passing by way too fast... (My breasts are actually going to stop growing soon. Damn it)
If you realise, it is actually the same resolution you set for me :)
Back to the topic. Yes, live life to the fullest baby! Will it still be as wasted as the previous year? Will you find your true love? Will it be a joyful, satisfied year? However it's going to end up like, it's your own history to create. :)

Gosh, it's scary to think about what I will be facing in the time to come. I've got a feeling that many of my beliefs are going to change/broken this year. As for now, I shall make a retreat to my lousy bed (it gives me bodyaches instead of comfort).

P.S. Happy New Year everyone! :D

(for personal reference: I spent the countdown at home, being a 宅女 and skyped at midnight. Slept at 4AM, up at 2PM, MSN-ed till 7pm, Maths homework, reflected for a while. I felt happy and confused)

what I believe about counting down

Kissing at midnight: We kiss those dearest to us at midnight not only to share a moment of celebration with our favorite people, but also to ensure those affections and ties will continue throughout the next twelve months. To fail to smooch our significant others at the stroke of twelve would be to set the stage for a year of coldness.

Unfortunately...

I've told the boy I've this tradition about seeing the person I love while counting down to the New Year's, and left out the details of it. Thought I should share what I believe(d) in. It sounds really silly but it's a lovely way to cross over to the new year! Poor boy (and I) would probably not be counting down together much thanks to the time difference. He'll be over at HK celebrating with his family and many, many people, which sounds really fun!! I'd better find my crowd too/ plan something at least (soya pudding is still calling my name...). Let's hope my lung will permit my potential activity! :)

Just got to stop believing in silly stuff, shouldn't I ;)

from One Tree Hill

girl: that's really noble Mervin (?), but you are a guy, you have needs. Gigi made you feel special that I obviously couldn't.
guy: that's not true. You made me feel special every single day.
girl: but never at night...
guy gives guilty face.
girl: all those nights we slept beside each other, there were so many times I'd lie awake watching you sleep and I just want to rip your clothes off and attack you...
guy: why didn't you?
girl: I was scared... that what we had was special that sex will mess it all up, that the promise I make will never make to the real thing. Then I realised the relationship we had wasn't that special.
guy: don't say that, we were amazing together Millie. And I know we can be amazing together again.
girl: the mistake we made will always be there between us.....

-yadda yadda-

guy: but I don't want to go back, I want to go forward being this version of us.
girl: what do you mean?
guy: I mean, things were always so easy between us before but this is real life. Yes, we made mistakes, we screwed up. Maybe we can be that couple that finds our way through it to something better, something we both know worth fighting for and protecting. I don't have all the answers Millie, I just... I know that I miss you.

-romantic part comes in, but girl walks off in the end-

(girl and guy was used because I'm not familiar with the names... yet)

It seems like One Tree Hill is going to be the soap to watch before Gossip Girl Season 3! That's 6 seasons + the ongoing Season 7. I can wait for Gossip Girl Season 3! (let's hope it's worth the wait)

Oh yea, another one:

woman: since it's just you and me tonight, I'm going to let you stay up past bedtime and watch Thomas and friends.
LITTLE boy: I'd rather watch Gossip Girl, it's so bad for me.

Way to go junior! Good choice.

I'm in for

"it's impossible for a man who goes with whores to be loyal."
-quoted from Calvin's blog who quoted from Diary of a Sex Addict.

I'm with that. Think about it.

bye.

P.S. don't even try to.

I don't like it

"Do you know what it’s like to give your whole self to a person, and your whole heart to boot, until you’ve got nothing left to give- and then realize that it still isn’t what they need?"
-Jodi Picoult

I saw that phrase on someone's page @ tumblr. It's sad isn't it. Having make all the sacrifices, all voluntarily and thinking that it'll keep what one have wholly to oneself. In the end, it only push the person of interest into someone else's arms. I think some calls it "trying to hard". No one to blame but oneself for being silly thinking that all decisions made were just and expecting the person to appreciate what was sacrificed.

Sometimes, I wonder if I were all happy and everything I'll be in a state of... outsider dependant. One thing for sure is that I'll be respecting myself more than the current.

Sigh. I rarely get what I want. The reality is ugly.

what's meant to be is meant to be

A potato couch is in the living room, sitting on the sofa and speechless. Munching all the way from noon to dinner and probably later, checking her phone occasionally as she watches the shows airing on the rectangular box in font of her. The fat lazy creature is none other than myself. I am not able to think of a better way to spend my day other than relying heavily on the electronics. & thinking about some stuff as well. I didn't have a good night sleep and it has affected my thoughts of the day. Le sigh. D:

Growing Up part 3 episode ? (I caught the later half of the episode) taught me some lessons regarding lies. The narrator was ending the episode and said some sentences which I found very much logical. Some people tell lies to protect their loved ones. However, these lies will be recovered and known eventually. When it does, it will only push away the people you cared for the most. Regardless of whether it's told out of good will or to harm others, we all know it'll all reach the same outcome.

Personally, I've told lies thinking that the person whom I've lied to will not come to know the truth since I am the only secret keeper. Since it doesn't harm anyone and in fact will protect the person from being hurt, so why not just hide the truth? All these mind fooling of others ended up mind-f-ing myself. Many times it has got me insecure, harming the relationships I have/had. Creating an illusion to the people we love, making ourselves seem like the type whom our loved ones would desire, how long are we actually able to keep that image? Lies have to covered up with more lies, consequences will only build up as it happens. In the end, all we have is just superficial feelings that will break apart at the slightest touch of Truth. What's the point of going one big round and realise what we really have actually isn't ours to keep?

Recently someone told me that he asked himself this "why do I need you in my life?". It's an infectious question. Be truthful.

(half)day of reflection

Dance Flick today for lunch movie with Boobs and Calvin. It is mega spastic! Calvin and I went into the cinema not knowing what the movie is about other than it's something related to dance (Dance Flick, d-oh). We thought it would be like some sensible movie with a touching storyline like Step Up but NOOO it's nothing like that! The producer actually produced Scary Movie, hence the kind of comedy is pretty much the same. Dirty, grotesque and just plain... black! There were like merely 6 people who watched the movie. 1 chinese guy, 2 caucasian girls and us 3. I believe we laughed the most and loudest. It kind of makes me sad as I think about it. Should have caught Diary of a Sex Addict instead!

Quote from our little conversation while we were the only ones waiting in the theater-
Boobs: Hey Calvin can you call me now?
Calvin: What, why?
Boobs: I've always wanted my phone to ring in the cinema.
Calvin & me: WTS!
Calvin: NO!
Boobs: Inggrid can you call me please!
Me: Whaaaaaaaaaaat... okay but don't drink my milk. (I like to drink milk during movies sometimes)
Boobs: No, but pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase! *cute tone*
Me: arljdkgflskdhgjkfdls fine... *calls*
-phone ringing-
Boobs: *looks around frantically* OOPS SORRY SORRY EVERYONE I'LL SWITCH OFF MY PHONE NOW!
-chinese man walks in-

We didn't realise the theater door was open during the whole conversation. Boobs actually apologized out loud. LOL!

The rest of the day was spent walking rounds around Ion, sitting down on the space carpet in Borders reading from kiddy books to muscle men magazine to sexual quiz (just one book about that) and exploring Isetan Wisma. Calvin left early for his Raffles dinner thing, leaving Boobs and I. Boobs ended up watching Coco before Chanel alone. I felt so bad! But he told me he does it all the time. I only did that once ever in my life. Hmm, Boobs and Chanel doesn't really go together though... (NOT AN INSULT)

Anyway, I made use of my camera today whoot! :D
This is Calvin, who apparently was caught scratching his armpit!

This is Boobs, with his red Dr. Martens & reading a book on wombat I think? Some kiddy book.

I shall use my camera more often. I've been neglecting it for so long!

fly me to the moon

"I wish you would just rebel a bit, in the right way"

Wishing = don't be too hopeful on that.

Saying things in public that are hurtful doesn't make the situation any better because it will all just go back to you. I've experienced both sides and it's true.

Bee-tea-double-you, what are the happy things?

Save me, please. The more I think about it and voice it out, the more I realise something that I am unsure about. :'(

Truth be told, you are something that I can't read and I can't say I'd favour that.

Am I expecting a lot?

Do I? Maybe, maybe not. I don't know.

I didn't have a nice day today. 2 reasons:
1) My IELTS writing test went badly.
2) I saw... with... ...

Ficklelity

The walls have ears and the ceiling have eyes.

A million and one things to say but nothing's coming out.
Nothing can be achieved in the presence of fear.
Think twice, thrice, as many times as possible.
& taking into account how people feel. this isn't referring to you but
the other one.
