A potato couch is in the living room, sitting on the sofa and speechless. Munching all the way from noon to dinner and probably later, checking her phone occasionally as she watches the shows airing on the rectangular box in font of her. The fat lazy creature is none other than myself. I am not able to think of a better way to spend my day other than relying heavily on the electronics. & thinking about some stuff as well. I didn't have a good night sleep and it has affected my thoughts of the day. Le sigh. D:
Growing Up part 3 episode ? (I caught the later half of the episode) taught me some lessons regarding lies. The narrator was ending the episode and said some sentences which I found very much logical. Some people tell lies to protect their loved ones. However, these lies will be recovered and known eventually. When it does, it will only push away the people you cared for the most. Regardless of whether it's told out of good will or to harm others, we all know it'll all reach the same outcome.
Personally, I've told lies thinking that the person whom I've lied to will not come to know the truth since I am the only secret keeper. Since it doesn't harm anyone and in fact will protect the person from being hurt, so why not just hide the truth? All these mind fooling of others ended up mind-f-ing myself. Many times it has got me insecure, harming the relationships I have/had. Creating an illusion to the people we love, making ourselves seem like the type whom our loved ones would desire, how long are we actually able to keep that image? Lies have to covered up with more lies, consequences will only build up as it happens. In the end, all we have is just superficial feelings that will break apart at the slightest touch of Truth. What's the point of going one big round and realise what we really have actually isn't ours to keep?
Recently someone told me that he asked himself this "why do I need you in my life?". It's an infectious question. Be truthful.

Okay baby :D
I am settled with this template... at least for now. I am alright with the previous one but the font was really small and I think it's really important to have a font size that's appropriate and comfortable for the eyes of the readers. Not that I have that many readers, probably not even a handful, but I believe your individual welfare is very important. I don't want to be partially blamed for myopia/ increasing degrees ok!
The colour coordination is pretty screwed up. I feel so sad that I can't sort it out! But ahhhhh whatever, I don't want to get too caught up with that. If I were to be doing this say... 2 years ago I would have died from fussing over this. I used to be a perfectionist back in Secondary school. Hard to believe, I know. I was super duper picky then and would not budge until I got something the way I want it to be. Sadly my imperfectionism didn't apply to my studies. It would have helped me so, so much. Hahaa. I am still quite picky over the minor stuff though. It's really irritating sometimes. Yes! I irritate myself when I am being picky too. You are not the only one.
My inspiration is actually that flower up there. Nude (color) / yellowish-orange shades seem to appeal to me recently. The background used to be gray color, which I found quite boring. Stripes seems to be cute, so that plus yellowish-orange = ta-dahh! I am not sure about the colours still though. I need some comments please! :(
Anyhowww, I actually used my whole day doing thing. What a wasted (holi)day! :(

didn't mention the other side of the story here
When did you last see me? (Note: what's the white stuff behind me- not the sign board)
It's snowing really heavily here, in London, which is apparently a rare thing. The scene outside my window is so pretty because it's all white: the ground, roof, top of the cars, benches... basically on the top of every surface. I see a hobo making the bottom part of a snowman all by herself. She noticed that I was staring at her through the window and gestured to me, inviting me to her little lonesome activity. I smiled to her and politely declined.A reflex action is happening in my body as I feel the adrenaline/ endocrine/ whatever hormone is at work right now. This spontaneous urge to play with the snow is building up but I can't go out because my head is slightly throbbing, probably from the strong wind just now when I went to get some dinner. I took some pictures, so that I can share the small bit of joy that I have been feeling since afternoon, when the snowflakes started to fall like raindrops, the elegant version of it.
:D oh joy, if only you could stay here forever~
It has been quite a weird week. I have been making attempts to come back home earlier than the previous weeks due to complaints from my siblings which resulted in an earful from my father. Hmm, I am trying to be a nice sister as well because my sister will be having her major exam in about half a day's time. Nice comments coming from her should be able to offset some of the negativeness that I've been giving her for the past month! & she said that she MIGHT(she said to take special attention to the word) give me some extra cash for next week's allowance. Whee!!! Very attractive incentive. :D
MIGHT help in my plan teehee ♥
Oh, did I mention that LSE gave me a conditional offer on the 30th January at 5.01PM? I felt emotionally ecstatic that I still have a chance to convince my father that his hard work is not exactly gone to a waste. What a feeling. :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE :D
So far my Christmas has been a boring one. It's just like any other day, everyone's doing their own stuff; sister is studying in the kitchen, brother is having his afternoon nap and I am in front of the laptop, attempting to do my holiday homework (failure) and downloading singles/doramas.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhrgh boredom is killing me where is my santaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Indie
Missed a day of school to recoup for the amount of energy lost through yesterday's touch rugby. Yes, I finally went to exercise even though the game lasted for about 30 minutes! It's enough to make my body ache (lower back and upper thigh). This is like telling me that I need to do it more often. & I think I should for the sake of losing my baby bump for an event which will take place a month later.
it's a surprise for you (L)
I tried to make myself more efficient today by doing my Biology homework and studying for the test missed. The progress was alright I guess, though I could have done more. Got to know a bit more about sperms and finished my locust practical mini write-up. I got distracted halfway and went off to Facebook. Shame, shame.
Oh yea, DSLR camera is undoutedly very addictive. Like, VERY. I tried to play around with Regina's and Danial's yesterday during rugby (when the guys were playing) and it was... awesome. I love love love the kind of pictures it produces! & the click sound it makes. Not to forget the professional feel you get when you try to adjust the lens thing, even though you are completely clueless on how it works. It makes my camera look like a toy one, really. :(
THE MAGIC OF DSLR CAMERA:
Love DSLR, hate the price.

Do dreams come true?
Waaaaaaaaa, what a nightmare! Hahahha, okay that was a joke. It's real: I fell sick yesterday. Horrible, horrible experience. I hate falling sick! Malfunction of the body limits the number of things that you can do + waste your time. Just imagine, I slept for about 20 hours yesterday. I am not kidding! It's probably good, because I did say that I need to sleep more over the weekends and I did it on Friday. But of course, the opportunity cost is that I missed a day of school.
& not being able to see someone! I need to get used to that though.
Today wasn't productive as well. I feel better though, no more vomitting and excessive sleeping spells. My appetite is still quite bad... saliva tastes as bland as ever, yuck! Oh, the speed which I fell to sleep yesterday was freaking hilarious. It's like right after I eat (which I straight away vomit out once I woke up), give me 10 minutes, snap your fingers and ta-dah! I'm snoring away. I forced myself to stay awake last night because I really needed my body to digest some of the food so that I can get some energy, but it was in vain. I went to dreamland while holding my phone. Haha! :D
Hmm, there was something worth cheering up for today! The electrician came and installed the new shower! YESSSSSSSSSS, NO MORE BATHING IN THE OLD FASHIONED METHOD OMGGGGG!! HALLELUYAH! The new shower system is better than the previous one (obviously) so I am veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery happy! Very very.
I want to eat century egg all of a sudden! :D

Singapore so far
Alright alright, I am going to forsake the long wait for pictures from Rachel Tay Kai Yue. I thought of doing a post with pictures of a day outing so that it'll look more interesting than a bunch of words. But she isn't online now and the previous time I met her online, her dad had the camera.
Singapore's weather: as expected. Hot and humid. Today was horrendous, even the locals said today's hot! By locals I mean, the people who lived here long enough and doesn't look like they spend a majority of their day in an air-conditioned room(higher tolerance of heat). & imagine walking under the sun, trailing behind my adventurous dad in CHINATOWN. Thank goodness it's not downtown east @ noon or something. I would've gotten a heat stroke.
(Hehe, I like talking about Singapore's weather, it's interesting!)
For the past week + 3 days, I've been out meeting friends and shopping. Rachel, Mila, laogong(!!), Teng2, JE(Jing Er), Lois(spontaneous!) and VAAAAAAAAALLLLLL(I miss you baby). Quite mixed bunch of people actually but met a couple or three of them like on different days. Val's school sounds very interesting and bitchy compared to SAJC(the rest went there exp for Mila), which looks really innocent and peaceful(IN COMPARISON). & a very risky plan with my lg........................................................................................................ kinda doubtful hmm.
Anyway, I find the former(meeting friends) more interesting than the latter(shopping) because the sales here aren't that great plus the people here are like grabbing machines. Seriously mann, my head was throbbing in Zara today. Maybe it's due to the mission to search for my mom's shorts plus hot weather. Oh, and late night as well. Sims 2 gets addictive, sometimes.
Okay, television is calling my name and I've house visit at my cousin's love nest tomorrow at an unearthly hour of 8 AM = NFMDJKSNFNS!? My mom's plan.
LESPARDDDDDDD WHERE ART THOU!?

Sucrose report
So much for the extension. I did not make good use of the extra time given and went on to procrastinate, procrastinate and procrastinate. When is it going to get off me? I wonder.

Sneak peek on how thrilling my biology report is. I can imagine Dr Sherratt giving me the hmm as she marks it. Argggh, headache!
And just in case you noticed the downloading window, it's 黄色い涙(kiiroi namida, yellow tears). Which also means 松本潤、風、松本潤! Is it a nice movie? We'll see...(I shall see, rather)
Soft subs is limiting so much of my movie downloads. Graaaaah! >:(

Routine
*PHEW* I finally posted up Platform 9.75 and Hyde Park post! It's under 水曜日, 4月 09, 2008. A lot of pictures and there is one video~ I spent like 2 nights uploading them. Gosh, I didn't expect it to be so time(&energy) consuming. -_-
Well, these few days have been very unproductive. I only finished like a couple of papers and did totally no revision at all. Most of my time were spent either watching It Started With A Kiss(ISWAK) or sleeping. Oh gawwwwwwwd, the cycle is back. Pfft, this ain't good! I need to think of a way to finish all my holiday homework AND study for my test periods for next week(at least). Oh, of course, the simplest way would not to watch ISWAK and sleep lesser. D'oh.
The problem is that I don't seem to have the willpower to not do the 2. I've been trying to set my alarm at 11AM, which is quite late already, for the past few days. The interesting thing is that when it rings, I just automatically switch it off and go back to dreamland until 3PM. Wonderful? I know. Heh.
When I finally wake up, I would go my territory(none other than the kitchen) and grab some food to eat. Of course I will have to watch something as I dine and (yes, you guessed it right) ISWAK! One episode is never enough, so I'll be watching a few at one go which means that a few hours are gone just like that. By then, I am just an hour away from dinner. This is the time when I do my homework. Watching ISWAK is the only thing I do after dinner, apart from bathing, sleeping and MSN-ing. So yea, that's how my past few days were like.
Today was quite different though. Though the alarm thing failed this morning/noon, I didn't watch ISWAK as I eat! Yey~ finished one of my Accounts paper and went off happily to paint my nails which ended up like as if I dipped my fingertips into the bottle of nail polish. This reminds me that I am not the type for DIYs. It took me the whole afternoon, by the way. I can't believe how I always find distractions when I am supposed to be doing my work. This is really demoralising, sigh.
Okay, it's 1 AM again. I shall try to sleep early and jump out of bed when my alarm rings(it shall be 10AM this time round. Pray for me to succeed, please!).

Are we still owl friends?
So many things happened within the past week, it made me feel like as if it was a month. The ups and downs that I've been through was so bizarre that I coudn't even find any words to describe everything. It was something that I've never expected it to happen to me. Was/am I happy or sad? I don't know. & I wouldn't want to think about it. All I know is that I have to grow up in the way I think and behave because I will be turning 17 in less than two weeks(yes, this is a hint).
the right words are actually overjoyed and depressing.
Weeeeell, let's talk about school! It's been pretty okay(I know, I've been repeating this), still bearable. I feel like slapping someone though. But of course it's not worth it because I don't want to hurt my precious palm and wouldn't want to disappoint a specific person(I shall try to behave like a lady!). Too much disappointment will make me sad. Haha!
Lessons are alright as well. What Mrs Lau told me yesterday reminded me of my priority of why I came here. & my promise to my parents. I realised that I've been slacking lately, procrastinating and all. Homework are starting to pile up and notes are slowly stacking up above my subject files. I haven't even looked through like 95% of them, not even mentioning doing revision! Ahh, I've let myself down(and others as well) so badly! :(
& this reminded me of what Mr Rodgers(Calvin's best friend) said: don't say I will do it, because you will end up not doing it. Yessssss, I MUST TAKE ACTIONNN. SOMEONE, PLEASE PUSH ME. I have no self-control, help! D:
Oh and yesterday wasn't a good day. Thinking of what Mr Lea did kind of touched me(I am 80% sure I will not be receiving the same treatment). He actually let me have a 20 minutes nap during Econs class! Ashley(Jing Wen, he's a guy btw. Nice name eh?) and I came out with 2 reasons why he did that. 1) He noticed something was wrong with me and 2) the lesson wasn't that important, so he don't really care. He was going through some homework thing when I napped. So yea! This is like my second time, in my whole lifetime so far, falling asleep during lesson. The first was during literature class in Secondary 2. I dreamt of going swimming. -_-
Today I fell asleep during Bio test period as well, but that's because I finished my test paper and handed it in like super early(I finished it within 12 minutes, thanks to someone! :D). Didn't have anything much to do, so I just laid my head on the table and dozed off. So, why am I so sloppy these days? Well, that's generally because I've been sleeping at around 2 AM or later for the past 1 week. I need my 10 hours of sleep so badly, sigh.
I have been coming home "quite late" these days and my siblings aren't happy with it. & I went to snack after school, which is better than waiting for dinner to be served(and starving while doing so) at home.
& & I am getting quite annoyed with my sister lately because she's been really irritating for example she complains to my mom for every single thing(even the super minor matters) I do and what's worse is that SHE EXAGGERATES. I hate it whenever she does that. & she only realised what she said after I interrupted her conversation by saying "hey did I really do that?" Then she would shut up and try to amend the things she said, which is usually irreversible and my mom will start to worry. Pfft. I hate this paragraph.
Other than thattttt, nothing much. This is a long post and Wu, I hope your eyes enjoyed the feast. Haha!
Oh & please be careful, I might slap your butt.

Tough luck
Argggggh, internet is a huge distraction! I was tempted to use the internet just now, and I actually allowed myself to fall into the trap. Now, three-quarter of my attention is on the laptop and the rest is on the Bio textbook. To make things worse, I am still at the Pollination part. Pfft, and the test tomorrow is CT, which I think holds a greater percentage than the weekly test. Oh great.
I wanted to write(type) a longer entry but now, I don't think it's going to happen.
Well anyway, I went to Kino just now to get my CATSTREET VOL.6(YAY!!) and Rei-chan's Yotsuba!(?). I came home happily, bathed, came online, checked my inbox & SHIT, I found out something terrrrrezibbleeezzzzzz and hoooorrizziblezzz:
THERE IS 20% MEMBERS SALE TOMORROW, WTF!
This is damn stupid.. I feel so -_-. But, I have a plan and let's hope it'll work :)
& this just showed how desperate I am for a 20% discount.
Till then, adios(whatever this means, rhymes pretty well so I used it) mate!
Check this out(quoted from dramawiki):
"A 'Hana Kimi Ouji' contest for 'ikemen' (good-looking guys) has been announced. It is open to anyone who looks like high school students; even females can apply. The winner will get a chance to appear as an extra on the show." -more

My back hurts :(
It has been 2 days in this house alone with my sister and I think we are doing pretty okay. If only the cable for the TV didn't spoil, it would be better. Maybe I should purchase a new one tomorrow. Ah well, wish us luck~
