wahaha

OH YEAH!!! I FINALLY SOLVED THE STATS QUESTION THAT HAS BEEN BUGGING ME FOR 5 FREAKING DAYS! Bugging me as in completely occupying all the time I have, causing me to be highly inefficient for the past week... (haha yea right, that's like an excuse for the excessive entertainment I've been succumbing to all the while)

Anyway, I'm super glad that I've finally solved this damned exercise. You all will never know how relieved I feel right now. I can't even describe it. It's that phenomenal. It's quite weird that I solved it while listening to Today Was a Fairytale by Talyor Swift... is my fairytale that sad? Relationship with my stats homework? Seriously??!

Time to jump into bed!! :)

Metallica concert

Urgh, accounts is getting even more challenging than before :( I can't even get one final answer right for my homework! This is one disadvantage of taking on a speed course for A Levels. There is barely enough time to finish the syllabus properly and all the teachers are basically zooming past all the chapters. I don't even have a proper understanding of what is being taught now... I only have my O level knowledge to rely on. Daydreaming in practically all classes just make things worse too. -_-

Oh well. Anyway next week is Easter break. It's going to be for about 2 weeks, which is on average 2 week shorter than what most schools here in UK have. LSE actually has 5 weeks off for their Easter. Jealous, I am so. I understand why the college decided to only give us with only 2 weeks though. It's basically what I rambled about in the previous paragraph. I have a feeling that this break is going to be wasted as well, just like previous breaks that I had. Remember I always say how I am going to use it to revise school stuff? I never did that. Except for a rare couple of days, or hours even, that's it. Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh I've lost my drive and desire. Bad, bad. :/

Okay enough about college stuff. This bit might be interesting: I went to Metallica's concert last Saturday!!! Omg, is that awesome/ shocking/ unexpected or whuddd. It was kind of a spontaneous thing because Shaun and Naz got extra tickets and no one wanted to buy them... so Boobs bought one of the tickets and Shaun kindly offered me the extra one. Naz is the hardcore Metallica fan anyway and Shaun agreed to accompany him to catch the concert once more. Yea that's how hard core he is. Naz went to the same concert twice. Like, whoa.

The concert was rather awesome. It was very eye-opening, metal-ish and freaking loud. It was so loud that when I came out of the stadium, I could barely hear properly. It was as though I lost my sense of hearing after the 1.5 hour long performance. During the concert I actually feared that I might go deaf and had to cover my ears to try and prevent further (temporary) damage to my ear drums. I got it back though, thankfully. Or so I think... hmm.

I find it quite a waste that I only knew 2 songs out of the handful that they played. Nearly everyone were like singing (or rather, screaming) with the lead vocalist. Oh yea, I find that James (lead vocalist, guitarist and band leader) is very charismatic. & the drummer (Lars?) too. They are quite old though.

Someone's watching us.

The cab driver who couldn't catch whatever we said.

Naz, in white, and boobs, holding the banana skin.

"Don't put 2 rotten bananas together" or something.

Doodling away on the window~

O2 Arena was where the concert was held.

Outside the stadium. (Not very interesting)

Our seats were pretty high up and far away from the stage. Naz and Boobs sat at different places, closer to the stage. Btw, the picture with shaun talking on the phone was to illustrate how far we were from the stage, lol.

James!!!

Other hard core fans cheering and throwing their empty plastic cups of beer down. Oh yea, I experienced an uber mini beer shower, wts. Thank goodness the smell didn't stick on to me.

Some guy dozing off/ orgasming in silence.

If you can distinguish the faces from this pictures you can actually see Shaun yawning lol.

Metallica!

James again! :D

James changing hahahaaahahahahahahahh

& 1 Kirk. Haha. Most of the pictures were taken with maximum zoom btw. It's quite surprising that this Kirk one is clearer, relative to the other pictures.

The weather is getting warmer lately albeit the weird difference in the change of temperature from day to night (think from 16 to 4). It's not that extreme yet but it's really quite troublesome. I have to dress at the right thickness, enough to keep me from being baked by my layers and frozen by the night wind. Oh well. Spring oh springgg, thou make me ponder what I am going to experience this time round.

fertilising the soil

After studying a teeeeeeeeny weeny bit of human reproduction, it feels quite weird to be doing a unit 3 paper (environment). Okay, maybe a question. It was about desertification and I was writing about fertilising the land to prevent it from happening. & it sort of confuses me... this is how exactly my (okay fine I admit it for this case, HORNY) mind progresses:

Fertilising the soil... hmm (starts to ponder) THEN fertilisation in human? Fusion of gametes? (starts to ponder further) FOLLOWED BY What the shit? SOIL SEX?!

It's really quite entertaining sometimes when I realise how my mind works.

I don't understand why the shoes I want is not on further reductions. Hmm, maybe it's high in demand hence the firm is able to not reduce its price and maximise the revenue it can earn from customers. Howwwww slyyyyyyy of the frenchhhhhhhhhh >:(

(Actually, it's the British)

Oh yea, happy new year people :D five days late and proud of it! (y)

Btw, I was talking to Viriya and she said something which totally made me roar with laughter...

Viriya O_O is frozen says:
we should have a trip to go somewhere close lol and just enjoy the companionship of each other

Oh my masterrrrrrrrr!!! ROLF!
(she doesn't mean it that way though hahaha)

For the right interest?

The job of Myoglobin will never stay in my brain. I remember encountering a similar question asking about its function and all I had on the 10 lines given on the question paper was the word Myoglobin. I thought that it'll reflect better on the teacher, telling her that I was actually about to write something but ran out of time (oh, how unfortunate!). It never really worked anyway, I don't think the teacher gave a shit about it. & as for me, I remained the same-- still as clueless and birdbrained on what it does. I hope my attempt in checking it up on Wikipedia will instill some knowledge relating to the thing (how very unbiologist). *crosses fingers*

My weekend was quite a boring one. I wanted to describe it as mundane but thought that it wouldn't fit the adjective because it's not ordinary. It has been ages since I dedicated my weekend on pure homework; no shopping, no long phone calls (not that I do this often), no outdoor activities. I must say that I feel disappointedly productive, as in you know that you are being productive but not at the level of which you are expecting yourself to be producing at. Only managed to clear 0.6 recurring of Accounting paper + C3 Maths + C4 Maths. 1 Biology Unit 2B paper in the middle of completion and 2 practicals waiting for me to touch (due tomorrow) AND NOT TO FORGET! A Unit 3 Biology Mock to study for. All in... let's see... at most 5 hours (assuming that I will be sleeping at 15 minutes to 1). Hmm, I don't think you people care about my homework progress anyway. But I like talking about it because it makes me feel hardworking + smart. Especially after Shuaib hit my head with a THICK stack of paper TWICE on Thursday. Ha, so please excuse me. :D

Oh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, there was something exciting about yesterday! I got to see Shaun for like 15 minutes because he came over to deliver my Accounts file. He could have stayed for a while longer but I thought my sister came home and he had to be a ninja along with Boobs and hide somewhere (I think it's around the staircase outside my unit). It turned out to be my brother. What a waste. But the 15 minutes was just nice I guess. He did come in unnoticed and I wouldn't want him to see things which he's not supposed to see. Nyehehehe ;)

I guess the weekdays were fine. Went to watch Joanne perform (she is in King's College band) on wednesday and had some good time making fun of Wei Yuan for a bit. They are a cute couple! :D Got lectured for coming home past the time which I said I'll be home by, again. I always have issues with time. It's really difficult to fix. :(

Chewing gummmmmmmmm yummmmmmm. Highlight for the previous Sunday. :D

That's it hoboes. Off to Myoglobin land!

Indie

Missed a day of school to recoup for the amount of energy lost through yesterday's touch rugby. Yes, I finally went to exercise even though the game lasted for about 30 minutes! It's enough to make my body ache (lower back and upper thigh). This is like telling me that I need to do it more often. & I think I should for the sake of losing my baby bump for an event which will take place a month later.
it's a surprise for you (L)
I tried to make myself more efficient today by doing my Biology homework and studying for the test missed. The progress was alright I guess, though I could have done more. Got to know a bit more about sperms and finished my locust practical mini write-up. I got distracted halfway and went off to Facebook. Shame, shame.

Oh yea, DSLR camera is undoutedly very addictive. Like, VERY. I tried to play around with Regina's and Danial's yesterday during rugby (when the guys were playing) and it was... awesome. I love love love the kind of pictures it produces! & the click sound it makes. Not to forget the professional feel you get when you try to adjust the lens thing, even though you are completely clueless on how it works. It makes my camera look like a toy one, really. :(

THE MAGIC OF DSLR CAMERA:
This is Viriya from Thailand! :D Awesome butt cheeks (very soft).

Samantha, a figure of innocence.

Roar. (YOU ALSO OPEN YOUR MOUTH VERY OFTEN AND VERY BIG)

This is my son, Boobs, who loves mud very much.

Regina with Danial's professional DSLR.

Photographed and photoshopped by Regina. Love the effects to bits!

The Act of Independence.

Viriya loves smacking my butt (as shown).

The 2 guys are pretty much random. (Shaun and Danial; left and right)

The Act of Friendship.

Love DSLR, hate the price.

I feel like eating bread and butter

Where is my reference? When is my UCAS going to be sent in? WILL THE UNIVERSITIES GIVE ME OFFERS? I feel so stressed, sigh. :(

(caution: the following paragraph is even more boring than my usual posts)

I was a bit productive today. I finished the 2 questions of maths which I left out on Friday because I couldn't finish the whole exercise on time and copying is bad. Mrs Eyers is probably going to be very unhappy about it, but I can't do much now can I? My plan is to go to school really early tomorrow and place it on her table. Hopefully she will mark it and not scream at me on Wednesday. I also have Biology graph to give in tomorrow. Another deadline missed. T1 write up was due on Thursday 2PM latest but I didn't know that she set the deadline to that time. So I dilly-dallied and happily thought that I could print it out after Maths class which ends at 3.15PM. By the time I printed it out, my friends told me about the deadline and I was dead. What's worse is that I forgot to attach my graph to the report. So my report is just like a comprehension without the passage. & what's even more worse is I have to meet her tomorrow at 11.35 AM to discuss about the report. I am dead beyond dead. Sigh, the more I have to wake up early to hand in my overdue assignments. :(

Shopping yesterday was awesomeee! Though I overspent, it was quite worth it. I finally bought a coat from Topshop albeit not quite the thickness that I was looking for. French Connection is a , as usual. I got myself a life-changing piece of clothing (guess) which I will probably wear lesser than the number of times I donate to road side hobos. It's rather puffy and enlarges the size of my butt, which is good in a way. My butt is like getting smaller day by day. I think it's because I am using the wrong muscle when I walk. Naz mentioned before that my butt is very bony. Sad, isn't it? I am not having the bumps at the correct places. Oh well, life is so unfair.

It's so cold now, a bit of wind got through the window which is right next to me. I can hear it howling outside. Oh well, no point being observant about this since it's the time for me to kill my craving (by going for it of course)! :D

Apologizing does help, it's better than not saying anything

Oxford Circus today felt like the real London, with the slight rain(more than drizzle though) and gloomy sky. With my Sony playing in my jacket and earphones tucked comfortably in my ears, I was quite ready to do some researching. It went well and I've confirmed what I need next week. Thank goodness when I reached home I got even more support to get the item.

There were quite a few things in my mind. From A to J(not Z, I didn't think of everthing), I thought about it and reflected. Am I rushing things? Pinning my hopes on practically nothing? Is it worth it? Indeed, too much wind in your head never do you any good.

Now, seated here in front of my laptop, my brain is having a debate on which homework to start first. Yes, Bio but WHERE? There's just too many potential starting points but not an obvious one. I think I am going to settle with my bad habit, that is to procrastinate. I am going to call Serene, and break my weird thing of against calling my London friends because I feel weird holding a conversation over the phone. Yes, I want to overcome this.

I need to.

What I've been up to

Taken on my unwell days.

I thought the light looked weirdish.

Lately my days have been all about following routines. Routines that are made by my very own mind, on the spot. I'm quite surprised that I have been on the right track(following it) for about 3 days now, considering that I never quite set off on any routines made by my own self before. So yes, that's quite an accomplishment. I wonder if I'm still going to follow it tomorrow, the day after tomorrow and the days to come. My homework seem to be reducing by a little but yet it looks like as if nothing happened to the pile. Is my routine working? Hmm.

For the past 3 days, I've been waking up at about 10.30AM, half an hour before Beauty and the Geek airs on Channel 4. I'm hooked on that show at the moment. Tomorrow's the last episode, so the day after tomorrow might be a little different. Rachael Ray follows after and I start doing my homework alongside her. Actually I do my homework alongside Bewitched, Ghost Whisperer and Charmed, all double bills. So yes, I think I see the reason why my homework is reducing at such a non-existent rate. Oh well.

Oh yes, my voice is back, which is aweeeeeeeeesome! No more speaking in a deep deep deep voice which shocked the tube ticket guy on Saturday. I sounded like a transvestite, it was really bad. Laogong said I sounded horrid too. Haha~ I am so so so glad that it's back. My nose is a little bit runny though. I hope it goes away soon.

Alrighty, it's 9.30PM now and I'm watching Big Brother. They are doing Michael Jackson's Thriller dance.

Sucrose report

So much for the extension. I did not make good use of the extra time given and went on to procrastinate, procrastinate and procrastinate. When is it going to get off me? I wonder.

Sneak peek on how thrilling my biology report is. I can imagine Dr Sherratt giving me the hmm as she marks it. Argggh, headache!

And just in case you noticed the downloading window, it's 黄色い涙(kiiroi namida, yellow tears). Which also means 松本潤、風、松本潤! Is it a nice movie? We'll see...(I shall see, rather)

Soft subs is limiting so much of my movie downloads. Graaaaah! >:(

Detached

Today was warm! I went out for a while to settle some things and I just wore a shirt+pants. Normally I would wear a jacket or equivalent, but no! It's scorching hot(even now) and I might have got a heat stroke if I were to wear additional clothing. Okay, that was obviously exaggerated. Haha~ but come to think of it.. I am really not looking forward to 19th June because of the weather. Argh, hot and humid. Who likes that?!

I just had my lunch(or should I call it tea? It wasn't a tea type of food though). A fatty one at that. & I watched 2 episodes of ANTM cycle 9! Yey~~ I got quite a bit of catching up to do. Hmm, the wrong kind of catching up though. -_-

My weekends so far are quite nice. I did some shopping yesterday which was awesome. Got a few stuff and managed to grab one good buy. It was on sale! Whoo~ I've been looking around for that kind of thing and I finally found it! Plus, at a cheaper price. It gave me adrenalin. :D

But a trip to one particular shop got me depressed. I saw 2 items which adds up to ridiculous total and considering what's in my wallet and debt list just made me leave them alone. It was a painful moment because I was also looking for those kind of things as well! I am looking out for countless kinds of things anyway. Hahahahahahaha~

Let me tell you something about myself, since I have no idea what I should add to this post. I am nearly hopeless when it comes to memory. I was watching ANTM just now and wanted to grab a drink. So I turned back to grab one from the fridge and I actually forgot to close the fridge door! It was like about 20 minutes later when my sister came into the kitchen, saw the door and screamed at me when I realised what I have done. It was... pathetic. Sigh. This must be caused by 4 months long of late nights. By late night I mean later than 1AM. Haha, welcome to my life. :)

Alright thennn, off I go to tackle maths homework and Biology report which is probably going to drive me nuts sooner or later. Oh, and we are going to start on our Biology coursework. Looking forward to it? Not even a teeny weeny bit. Grahh, help?

The more mentally absent I become

Quoted from conversation between my siblings(brother and sister):

Brother: hey can you help me iron my shirt?
Sister: huhhh whyyyyyyyyyy?
Brother: because I am lazy to do it myself.
Sister: no, go ask Ing first whether she knows how to iron.
Brother: DOES SHE LOOK LIKE SHE KNOWS HOW TO??!
Me:... I am not deaf.

I realised I made a few errors in the previous post, which was done in Chinese. Ahahahaa, the silliest(& most embarrassing) of all being 性情 instead of 心情. Haha~ my han yu pin yin is messed up!

So yes, the weekends are here again! Well, going to in a few hours time. Examinations are getting nearer and nearer and time for preparation is getting lesser and lesser. & WT_ I HAVE YET STARTED MY REVISION. !@$#% Homework is going to drown me sooner or later. Oh my goodness, it's like so so SO much to do! Accounts homework alone is enough to keep me busy for the weekends. Grahhh, Mrs Lau is merciless. :'(

Don't ask why I am doing this post despite knowing that I have a gazillion homework waiting for me to tackle. Shh. Zip. Don't say a word. ;)

The week wasn't bad. There were good days! So overall, I'll rate this week as slightly above average. The weather was really nice on Monday to Wednesday! The sun was out and it wasn't too warm. Absolutely fantastic(I am talking like Mrs Eyers, my maths teacher -_-). But from Thursday onwards, it wasn't that good. It starts to get colder again and gloomy, just like winter. I also like this kind of weather though. It's very London. Haha~

Oh, I took some pictures over the weekdays using my phone and Serene's camera. OH, WHICH REMINDS ME. My camera died. This happened a few months back though, sayyy around February? So yessssss, I had to live with Serene's camera to feed my hunger for scenes being snapped until I go back to Singapore. :(<

..I need to polish up my ONEGAIII~~ skills again. Sigh~ I miss doing it to Rachel and Mila! Hahahahahaha, omg! & the trouble that I got Rachel into with my ONEGAIII~ whines. Sorry Reiii~ <:)

So yes, the pictures of the week. I shall go by the days it was taken! :)

Monday

Fanzi and Xiao Lu, contrastingly, couldn't stifle their laughter any longer.

On the other hand, Zahabia resumed in studying my paper.

My model's (large)shoes.

This was supposed to be a proper picture of me tutoring Zahabia like a model student. So much for the effort. -_- (Xiao Lu's index finger on the bottom right)

Gospel. I didn't know my model is that holy.

Le is camera shy~~

We are uber cool.

Mr Lea is back in action! (Le is springing back into position)

Zahabia is still studying it...

We were on the way back to library.

Serene's attempt in photography.

I was facing Neeta in the library, who was facing the air-con which was giving out cool air with sulphur-like scent.

Whee~ doing what I like to do when I have nothing to do again.

Mrs Carroll is Neeta's crush.

..Felicia too. Neeta 很花.

Embarrassed to admit. HHAHA!

Friday

Just outside the apartment on the way to Chancery Lane tube station, I met Mr and Mrs squirrel.
