(half)day of reflection

Dance Flick today for lunch movie with Boobs and Calvin. It is mega spastic! Calvin and I went into the cinema not knowing what the movie is about other than it's something related to dance (Dance Flick, d-oh). We thought it would be like some sensible movie with a touching storyline like Step Up but NOOO it's nothing like that! The producer actually produced Scary Movie, hence the kind of comedy is pretty much the same. Dirty, grotesque and just plain... black! There were like merely 6 people who watched the movie. 1 chinese guy, 2 caucasian girls and us 3. I believe we laughed the most and loudest. It kind of makes me sad as I think about it. Should have caught Diary of a Sex Addict instead!

Quote from our little conversation while we were the only ones waiting in the theater-
Boobs: Hey Calvin can you call me now?
Calvin: What, why?
Boobs: I've always wanted my phone to ring in the cinema.
Calvin & me: WTS!
Calvin: NO!
Boobs: Inggrid can you call me please!
Me: Whaaaaaaaaaaat... okay but don't drink my milk. (I like to drink milk during movies sometimes)

We didn't realise the theater door was open during the whole conversation. Boobs actually apologized out loud. LOL!

The rest of the day was spent walking rounds around Ion, sitting down on the space carpet in Borders reading from kiddy books to muscle men magazine to sexual quiz (just one book about that) and exploring Isetan Wisma. Calvin left early for his Raffles dinner thing, leaving Boobs and I. Boobs ended up watching Coco before Chanel alone. I felt so bad! But he told me he does it all the time. I only did that once ever in my life. Hmm, Boobs and Chanel doesn't really go together though... (NOT AN INSULT)

Anyway, I made use of my camera today whoot! :D

Hello all!

I caught the Time Traveller's Wife today with ze boyfriend. It was alright. The storyline was cut short, as always with every other movies based on novels. Nonetheless, it's mildly a tear-jerker and stimulating. I remember the novel is much, much more moving and romantic. It's wonderful how books are so limitless in expressing and telling the whole story, how the words inside are strung together to stimulate our senses, how it allows us to be in the characters' shoes. I like reading! It's weird to be saying this but most of the books I read actually made me feel special. I don't know if any of you ever felt the same way but whenever I finish a book (good one with a satisfying ending), I feel soothingly merry and carefree. It lingers for quite some time too. I feel like a freak now -_-

Tomorrow's Shaun's birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 He's gna be 18!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 Same age as me finally :D I'm excited whoot whoot! He's currently spending the last moments of being 17 with WoW. I have no one to share my excitement with sighzxzz. I dunno why I'm so alive at night but not the day.

Best movied watched during Summer 2008

Three words: WATCH RED CLIFF!!!!!!!!!!!1

It's better than staying at home watching your Sims woohoo-ing. Haha, I am serious! It was superbly awesome. I went to watch it with Grace Koh and Teng Teng today, who enjoyed it as much as I did. Haha, Grace was being freaking hilarious in the theater. She keeps on saying random things! There was once when she said something(totally accidental) but hilarious like crazy:

"Where is 曹格(Cao Ge, Gary Chaw)?" when she meant 曹操(Cao Cao) who is the villain in the movie. Haha, & later in the movie she also exclaimed that there was a malay soldier among the troup because he looks like one. The 2 guys in seated in front of me heard that as well and chuckled happily. Hahaha~

Anyway, more about the movie. It was very entertaining! The fighting strategies were fantastic and very 爽 to watch. & Takeshi Kaneshiro acted in it as well! & Vicky Zhao~ A lot of handsome & pretty people to eyecandy on. & and the three brothers are damn cute. Especially the youngest one. His hair is very cool. Aiya, in a nutshell it's well worth whatever you paid for the tickets! :D

I am very happy now because I bought my Zara vest-corset which I initially thought that it was sold out! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :D

Today was a good~ :D :D

We lunched at MOS! It was very hip because they were playing Britney Spear's songs(from the Blackout album I suppose). & this is my dear Grace Koh.

I think I told a lie somewhere in here

I am freaking bored, bored and bored. Summer holidays with friends diligently doing homework and revising non-stop + sucky sales + hot and humid weather + college friends having internship + no cable tv = bored^3. Japanese doramas are piling up in my HDD which has super limited space now and I am quite near to being broke. In other words, no more doramas which is unbelivable! What am I going to do without doramassssss?! :(

The Strangers was quite an interesting movie and the people were in the same theater as me were even more interesting. My sister and I were supposed to watch Red Cliff after dim sum but the only slot Shaw Lido had was at 21 30(or smth) and coincidentally The Strangers was showing in 15 minutes while we were checking the board. So my sister quickly pulled me to the ticketing booth without me knowing what was going on which caused me to ask her in a very loud manner. Ah well.

In the middle of the movie, the person in front of me started to talk very loudy to the person who's next to him. Nearly everyone around him(including me) shh-ed him. It was pretty funny because I was expecting myself to be the only one doing that. Oh & after every scene where everyone went "oh no oh no oh no", "omgoshhhhhh", "AHHHHHHHHHHHH", ect. giggles never fail to follow up. I liked the atmosphere. :D

I need to find a cleaning kit for my laptop because after remembering that keyboards are actually dirtier than a toilet bowl makes me feel uber disgusted and I don't want to get any weird disease just because I left the bacteria to breed and build a kingdom on top of my "I" key.

Muller yoghurt = very nice(I don't fancy the strawberry flavoured one though, the one I am holding in the photo)!

Here I am, sitting down on this chair with 1 pack of yoghurt in front of me and hands comfortably resting on the body of this laptop. It's been ages since I've thought of blogging AND carried out my plan as soon as I get home. Yadda~ what a feeling :D

The week(excluding weekends) was quite bad, but still bearable. My classroom attitude is getting very Secondary school type, which is bad. Tardy, sloppy, lazy, talkative, easily ditracted, ect. My homework are not handed in on time and my test scores are going down, down and down. Plus I am not getting enough sleep. The fact that the teachers' comments about me is going to be part of the University's deciding material is making me even more scared of what's going to happen to me. I can't say I don't know any more because I know what I need to do. It's just that I am not taking any actions. Alright, I am repeating this thing like a broken recorder. Let's move on.

So yea, the past few days were, as how I had explained above, quite bad but still bearable. I went to watch Spiderwick after school today. It was so-so, quite amusing in some parts. The part when the boy stabbed his father was quite hilarious(though I didn't laugh out loud) because I was shocked when I saw it and was asking myself what kind of movie is this and why in the world did they show a young boy stabbing his own father(Spiderwick is rated PG). Yes, yes, I know! I shouldn't have thought that way but I just couldn't help it! I didn't have enough sleep remember?(Bah, it's still not a valid excuse to fall into such childish trap)

Speaking of sleep, today's Biology practical was so -_-. Oh my goodness! I can't believe that I actually decided on adding 5cmcube of hydrogen peroxide to 15cmcube of blended liver tissue(or suspension, as they call it). That was for my first try, before Dr Sherratt gave me that look when I told her the volume of hydrogen peroxide I used. Freaking embarrassing!! :'(

Anyway, since today is Friday, it means that I was given plenty of homework to finish. Oh, and test periods next week are going to be heavy. Especially Biology and Economics. There's so much to study for both! Nutrients(the parasitism, rhizobium, mutualism, animal skulls, rhizopus, ect.) for Biology and Macroeconomics for Economics! & Mrs Lau just told us that she'll be giving us an hour paper for Accounts Test Period(we only have 45 minutes for each test period). She told us to do as much as we can though, so it's not that bad. Ahhhhh, help me please? D:

...no one's going to help me unless I help myself first. So, maybe I should go to bed now. Brilliant idea eh?

Everything is sad.

Omg, I just watched Sad Movie. It's sad(haha seriously!), especially the mother and son story. The mother died of stomach cancer(I think) in the end. It was like damn wth when the boy kept on crying out his mothers name after his mother blew the last whistle. Why did she die, whyyyyy?! :'(

& it's also sad when someone's love is not returned, sigh.

Anyway! I got my UK number already. My sister was like rushing me to get it, which I still do not understand why. It's like wasting money since I will only use it like earliest... when school starts or something? & even if school starts, I won't be using it so much. So yea, waste of money. The plan comes with a free phone too and I selected Moto's RAZR2 V8. It looks nice but the inside doesn't thrill me much. So in the end, I gave it to my sister. Hehe! I am still faithful to my Nokia. :D

The weather's pretty good today! Yay! :D

HEEHHEHHEHHHHHHEHHH, I watched the movie today. It was pretty short, sadly. Quite a few parts were cut off(actually quite a lot) and the death of Sirius Black still shocked me, albeit I had read the book. His death was like super abrupt okay. Harry's kiss with Cho Chang was also quite a turn off. It's was completely.. monotone(?). Okay, that is just not the correct adverb. It's difficult for me to explain everything, so you all just go watch it.

One thing that was good though, was Luna Lovegood. I think she's cute. I like her hair too. She looks and sounds like damn mysterious kind of girl. & her debut performance totally outshined Cho Chang's. Well well, looks like someone has to put in more work!

All in all, I think it's better than last year's. Damned, after watching the movie I have an itch to get the 7th(and last) book. But considering that I didn't buy the previous 6 books, I don't think it'll be a good choice. Furthermore my house like cramped like crazy. An extra collection of ultra thick books will probably make my book shelf explode.

Alright, I will stop here and start reading 僕は妹に恋をする manga! Whoo~
