It's oven-baked BBQ chicken + roasted potato marinated with olive oil and basil. Oh yea, and honey mushroom (?!!). Yea, there are bits of mushroom there.
Yummo! :D (ignore the mismatched fork and knife)My pride and joy! Since I invested quite a bit of effort in this. Gathering the ingredients, marinating and baking. Fine, probably doesn't sound very effort-ful but I definitely put more effort than normal for this dinner! No event whatsoever, I just feel like I should improve on my culinary and cleaning skills as a back-up just in case my professional career won't take off as well as I'd expect it to... :P
Anyway, it could have tasted really, really good if I baked it ~15 minutes (out of 80) less. I am not boasting, btw. The meat was slighty dry and the skin was charred. The skin is like the best part of the chicken. :(
I'm still glad that the potato and mushroom came out well. However, I will have to remember to slide in the 2 earlier so that everthing will be well done (or close to that). :D
Slept in for today and did a bit of shopping. I thought I should reward myself for finishing my stats homework last night! Woot. One less assignment to rush at the 11th hour. The wireless internet is still horrendous as I type this. Thank goodness my sister suggested me to use the cable instead. Yea, she just reminded me that there's a cable behind her table. Oh well, better late than never.
Egawd, internet is still crappy even with cable. Why is everything so erratic nowadays... :(
