I can't believe how long my day gets whenever I don't skype (the boyfriend). For example, today I came home at ~2.30pm since he went to bed early. It's 6.15pm now and it feels like half a day! It does feel nice to have a whole lot of time in your hand sometimes... sadly the past 3+ hours weren't spent productively albeit the fact that I did laundry. I don't get why people don't like doing laundry. It's like the best housework: pop the clothes into the washing machine, wait for the rounds to end and just hang them up dry! Smelling the freshly washed clothes cheers me up... somehow. Yea yea, I'm a weird nut.
Anyway, the weather has been picking up lately! Today felt a bit like early spring with the Sun appearing at about 4pm and it wasn't as miserably cold as the past week. I love it when the weather gets slightly warmer since there's no need to pile up as many layers. Egawd I sound like those typical English who doesn't know what to talk about and hence decided to mention the weather. I've got to admit that UK's weather is really interesting to mention since it's incredibly erratic (think 10°C to 0°C to 10°C in a fortnight). It's not like in Singapore where you can't really talk about the weather. Imagine conversation that goes:
Me: It's hot and humid today issn't it?
Acquaintance: ...you mean everyday?
Me: oh yea. *damnit I just made myself sound like an idiot*
I did mention during French class recently that the UK weather is one of the reasons why I wouldn't leave the country for Singapore. A good half of the class gave me a look of disbelief. It followed on with a short debate regarding the weather here.
Oh yes, which reminds me. I shall get a move on my French homework now! :D
