The past few days have been more interesting and henceforth engaging than before. Or maybe it's because of yesterday. (yes, it should be it, apart from sending my dad off to the airport) Finally get to see Shaun after 3 days of cold turkey! It was raining so we decided to stay put, chat and get comfy while we waited for the right time to move out of comfort zone. Auntie Pat picked us up in the afternoon and brought us to Sentosa for dinner. She brought us to this really awesome penthouse (I forgot the condo's name) which have a really, amazingly, breathtaking view of the sea. The scene of it from the living room was so gorgeous, it literally took my breath away the moment I saw it. The sea was right smack in front of the living room so when you stand in the middle of it, you can practically see a stretch of it across your balcony. It was nearly priceless, since the penthouse does come with a price. Come to think of it, it's such a pity that I didn't take any pictures of the penthouse... (nor the rest of the day, it would have been awesome)
As always, I searched around for the bedroom. The master was the first we went into. It was of an average size, not too big and not small. The toilet was relatively big. Oh yea, it's really sexy too because there's a glass panel which separates the bathtub (a white, cute one at that) from the bedroom. It allows one to look into the bathrub area of the bathroom while resting on the bed. The master bedroom also comes with an external shower (it has an internal one too, separated from the bathtub), doubling it's sexyness. As for the 2 bathrooms, they are not impressive. It's unfortunate that the 2 of them are allocated a very limited area each. The kitchen is alright for me, but definitely not for people who loves to cook. It's pretty small. :(
What I like about the house is (obviously) the living room. Not only of it's precious view of the sea, it's really huge as well! Nic said that the penthouse is suited for bachelors (he calls it a bachelor pad), which I don't think I would disagree. It's really a waste that the penthouse issn't more family-friendly. I do like the idea of using white marble for the flooring! It really makes the house glow. :)
Okay, that's quite a bit of ranting... I like looking at houses and interiors (and talking about it if it's really awesome, in this case it's the view)! It's like quite an important part of everyone's life! I'd like my (own, if possible) shelter to look as welcoming, pleasant and warm as possible. It'll be aweeesooome! I wonder if that's going to happen. Hmm.
Anyway... dinner was delicious (åå ¨åįž hahahahahaha). Auntie Pat treated us (or would it be more appropriate if I referred it to just "me", since the other 2 are her sons) at ONE°15 Marina Club. Really posh, with all those yatches parked around. Their mushroom soup won me over! It was rich and mushroom-y. I liked it a lot. We had a stroll together at the berth after the meal to aid our digestion. A really nice way to end the day. :)
thank you for the delightful day ♥
I really do wish I have some pictures to decorate this long, wordy post. I have been neglecting my camera lately, what a shame. Oh well, I guess sometimes, some things will have to be done for a better, happier future.I'm out, for now!
P.S. I've finished reading the Deathly Hallows. I will include my comment(s) regarding the book on the future post.
