happy white day :)

After I complained that he doesn't take pictures with me anymore. Haha

Today was a really huge contrast from the past sucky week I was complaining about yesterday. Like, really really really different. It was a nice day even though there wasn't that many nice programmes. Simple, quiet (quite) but enjoyable. I would say maybe it's because I tasted the best cod fish ever OR I found out that Shaun's sweet side can really be diabetically sweet OR both added together to give me my dynamic day. Oh yea, and part of the credit goes to the awesome weather as well. It reminded me of August, when Amanda came over for her Cambrige thing with her SAJC mates. I love this sort of weather: sunny, cold yet warm-ish and not as humid as back in SEA.

So anyway, it was White day (still now now though) of course I have to treat Shaun back right, because he treated me on Valentine's (traditionally, it's supposed to be the other way round- girls are in charge for Valentine's, guys for White). We were supposed to go to Madamme Tussauds but he was sick so we decided to do like a teeny bit of shopping. HIS SHOPPING, fyi. I was only given like 45 minutes to window shop?!?!! I know, what a (time) miser. After shopping, we went to Starbucks to chill until 7, since I made the restaurant reservation for 7.30PM.

While we were there, I got entertained by the budding coin magician. Yea, Shaun has a hobby in magic, mainly coins, since like... early last year? He's getting more talented in his magic tricks seriously. His hands are like really quick with the coins and the thing is he only learnt the trick in like less than a week wts.

Time went by rather quickly and soon we were at the restaurant (sounds so composition-ish wts). It was the restaurant that I wanted to bring him during Valentine's but I couldn't get a reservation then because it was fully booked, even 2 weeks before the actual event! It's insane. He had a place in mind anyway, and it was nice. Back to the topic, so yes, finally I get to sit down in the restaurant with him. The ambience was partially romantic because it was kind of lively with the people at the bar. It's like a fused restaurant, "exquisite, futuristic designed venue overlooking the vibrant buzz of Regent Street" - as mentioned on the website. There are the main restaurant, sushi (something like that) bar and champange bar in one area. Really cool layout. It was bigger than it looked!

The food was even more amazing. Oh my god. As mentioned, the best cod I have ever tasted so far in my 18 years and 14 days. The texture was super smooth, really like how you know japanese always say "omg it melted in my mouth, oishiiiiii!!!" Yea, it was really like that. I am not even kidding. We had another type of fish as well but it wasn't as nice as the cod (I nearly spelt that as god wts). IT WAS THE SEX. Oh, the dessert was really fantastic as well. We ordered pistachio crème brûlée and pandan sticky rice and poached something (it's so good that it's not even on the online menu) + cocktails which were damn good. Everything was so good. Even the edamame beans tasted sexy. Omg, I think I am in love with the restaurant. Even though the bill was a bit more than what I expected, I didn't mind paying 70% of it. It was 101% worth it. Really.

White day was indeed a memorable one :) with the companion, especially, and the new found butterfly (I doubt you understand what I mean). Life is indeed really good for today. :D
