OOOOOOHH~~
The venue. (Royal Albert Hall)Yes, Valentine's was spent romantically this year for the first time in my 17 years. We went to catch Quidam, a production of Cirque Du Soleil, which is awesome to the awesomest! I've always wanted to catch one of the shows by the circus but always missed it due to various reasons... but I guess the wait was worth it. Can you imagine: the show which I most looked forward to on the day which I have always dreamt of celebrating it for real, with the guy I am in love with (sorry if this is too cheesy for you). All these in one night, omg. The Sex.
Even though Shaun said the show didn't get his adrenaline pumping as how some Moscow circus did, I still think it's a marvelous performance! Too bad the last show in London was on the 15th February... I am sorry for those who didn't get to watch it. :( IT'S A HUGE LOSS! I hope they will drop by London soon enough with another production, or Singapore during the Summer! I looooooooooooove acrobats. I even included that in my Personal Statement (for university applications), although I haven't really seen much of it then... the show really made me love it even more. I should have tried to take some pictures, but I was way too absorbed in the show (I realised that at some point in time while watching it, my mouth was unconciously slighty agape- he didn't notice it, hee!). Photography isn't allowed at the venue anyway...
& Valentine's made me discover that I actually enjoy walking along semi-quiet streets lined with bakeries/ shophouses with British vibe at night. I am not exactly sure why, but I think I experience something quite like the feeling before... it's something along the "mellowly blessed" feeling. It's like pleasure derived from very simple things. I ♥ it. Like this song:
