(quite) a bit of recap

Dear diary... okay kidding. I'm feeling so corny and crappy right now! 4th day into Freshers' Week at LSE and I'm down with an unfortunate case of diarrhoea. The good news is that I never tasted anything from LSE Catering before except a small piece + a short whole sausage and a couple of sandwiches (everything except for the puny piece of sausage was from the 4th floor restaurant- yes that's the actual name of the restaurant). Bad news is it could be either home food (namely sister's cooking), Starbucks or Boobs's cooking. None of which I would like to blame. I hope I'll feel better in an hour. I'll be meeting one of my tutors then!

I have quite a bit to say since 25th September. Thanks for the lovely 3 (a small number of people yet so very dear to me: Shaun, Mila & Rachel- arranged by the time they arrived) who sent me off to Great Britain! The flight was a scary one due to the violent turbulence, or rather a sudden plunging down of the plane (twice actually). Shaun told me that it's caused by air pockets, something about air pressure and whole load of Physics I suppose. Regardless, THANK GOODNESS I ARRIVED SAFELY. The turbulence happened a couple of hours after the take off hence I was praying for safe arrival for the remaining 10+ hours. I tried to keep my mind off feeling scared by watching movies simultaneously. It helped somehow, to a certain extent. I've watched most of the nicer movies that were available. Dozed off for the last hour or so. :)

you 2! Thanks Rachel for rushing down from college and taking the long way to the airport! :D

LOL.

Looking around for a particular 2 adults.

I sense someone trying to imitate a pose of mine.

HAHAHAHHAHAH MILA! It's a cute unglam.

Sadly sitting in one corner feeling lonely and all. I was waiting for my sister to pick me up from the airport. (Safely touched down yey!)

Boots is like UK Watsons. I don't think I've mentioned it before in my A level years. I feel like I should talk more about the UK!

I didn't realise Sim Cards are actually sold in vending machines until Shaun told me last year when we were waiting for Nick's arrival.

There were so many Indians then. I felt like I arrived at the airport in Sri Lanka cause both lanes were filled with Indian faces!

I've aged from the flight.

I was dead sleepy, my head was spinning but I still decided to take a picture, which wasn't very flatting for either of us. (it's still nice to upload it)

26th was mainly unpacking and meeting up with some of ex CTC ppl (Boobs, Jessica, Felicia and Ashley) and one current one. It was a very brief meeting because Thashi managed to get me to buy Belgian waffles with her while the others decided to eat at a Korean restaurant. She went off after we got our waffles and I made my way to my sister's workplace supposedly for dinner. While walking and eating my waffle which was freaking sweet (till my teeth wanna drop ahahhahaa) my gastric (or appendix?) decided to hit me. I ended up meeting her, bought my toothbrush and headed straight home. The pain was unbearable. I quickly downed some porridge and the pain slowly died down- that's why I think it's gastric.

I resumed my packing on the 27th (Sunday). Goodness gracious, never realise I left my cupboard in such a state. The following pictures shall tell the story!

The cupboard my sister and I shared.

My compartment: stuffed with clothes.

My brother's cupboard which is pretty much emptied (all thanks to me!! I am thanking myself now wts)

My initial first compartment (all squashed and stuff- hello Vivienne Westwood!)

It's pretty much an empty shell. Left the heart in Singapore.

My socks, belt and scarves compartment.

Myself and the hat. Before packing.

AFTER packing. Emptied. Moved. Packed.

FILLED! & neat. It won't be neat for long though. Notice my favourite fleece teehee

Come Monday which was registration day! Got to know quite a number of people, yey! Hope I will remember their names. For me, Chinese names are so much more difficult to remember than English ones. I'm still trying to remember the names, though it's pretty challenging. Facebook kind of helps me to remember since it has pictures and the info... which is really useful! At least I've people to say Hi to on the first day! Tuesday and Wednesday were mainly Freshers' Fayre (think of all the societies) and Department (Accounting and Finance) Induction. I've joined 4 societies so far, totalled to 3 days of lunch (boo) and my sister refused to sponsor my activities. Oh well! It pays to socialise and get fit sometimes. So the past 3 days have been socialise, socialise and socialise. I didn't manage to take pictures though, it seems all touristy and no one actually took any pictures! Or maybe I wasn't observant enough. Anyway, next week it'll be all lectures and following week will be lectures & classes. As Julia calls them "the boring bit". Haha! :D

I think I'm down with jetlag. I've been feeling really drained and sleepy wayyyyy early and waking up at around 9 AM. I really hope it will go away soon!

Alright, time to dress up for uni! Mila's not replying my MSN :( oh well. (wow this is quite a long post innit!)

2nd half of the trip

This post is majorly a selection of photos.

5th day and we are in HK! :D We took a ferry over from Macao.

Haha, I see them almost everywhere. & it's a good thing too.

Didn't go there, ah well. :(

The street near the hotel we stayed in has a cute name(Sugar Street).

Oh yes, this is very disgusting. It's buffalo milk pudding & it taste like absolute crap. It's like milk without sugar with the addition of buffalo skin essence. That one wedge was all I had from the bowl.

One form of mango pudding. This one's better though, much better. Too bad that's the only mango pudding I tasted during the trip. :(

Tram/bus?

Where we had after dinner exercise.

Delighted to be in HK. Omg, I ran out of creative juice to generate good captions, help!

On the way to waste our 6th day away in Disneyland.

Other attempts of taking pictures of HK's cool skyscrapers were complete nonsense. This was considered cream of the crop. Ah well. -_-

My sister's form of excitement is through early planning(well hidden inside her).

My brother looks away in disgust upon seeing those words on the green panel. (kidding)

HK on hill apartments?

Moving on to another island(Kowloon from Hong Kong Island).

Anyway to cut the story short, we reached Disneyland.

Yey! (At the moment when the picture was taken)

The guy smiles quite gay-ly.

Oh, & my brother was very kranky at first. Hmm.

While the 2 have something in common. Ah well~ (photographer is always herself, wahaha)

Hmm, I find Snow White scary looking.

Hahaha! That's where most of the thrilling rides are(Tomorrowland).

Non-stop planning.

Especially from her. Ah well.

Hhahahahahaha photographer loves to take advantage of how things are coincidentally together.

The Stitch Encouter thing took nearly forever.

So we tried to kill time with the camera. Hahaha!

Sister no longer has the mood to plan.

It was quite worth the wait once we were inside. The aircon was very cooling and Stitch really gives live responses. In Chinese.

Some Pooh ride was next on the line.

...right.

We were seated in this cute-ish honey pot like train.

I didn't really pay attention to the story because I was more interesting in taking pictures. It was roughly about some storm thing.

Pooh being blown to your house.

Hehe, cute names.

Eko found his friend in there:

Tigger(hand action).

Suggestive poses.

In the awesome giftshop which we ended up not buying anything.

The new version of Mickey. Urgh.

Oh, we saw Belle somewhere. She looks more like Granny Belle(in this pose).

& Buzz Lightyear too, who was trying to chase after little girls. (kidding, the picture was COINCIDENTAL. Waaaahahaha!)

We were queueing for the lightyear ride for like 45 minutes? & then they told us that they had some technical difficulties??!?!?!

Caught the parade while we were wandering aimlessly.

Chip and Dale!

Artist?

Chip/Dale. I can't tell the difference. -_-

I find this one quite freaky.

The dresses scare me.

But the dancers were very cheeky. Hahaha!

The 7 little dwarfs!

It came out of nowhere and my camera was so quick until it was able to capture the hand at the moment when it popped in.

3 Disney princesses.

Your nannies.

Alice in the wonderland.

They even had the flower dancers.

Tall ones included.

Rachel! I see you here!

Little Mermaid.

Starfish. Her face is very pinchable.

Not so pinchable I-dont-know-what.

Overgrown Ariel. -_-

Unglamorous side of Ariel(omg Mila!).

Toy Story and Buzz Lightyear.

Reminds me of Mr Lee Siong Boon.

Mr Potato looking sexy.

The toy dancers.

One stayed behind to enjoy the fame.

Finale.

She's running a marathon. (kidding)

Your famous few.

Goofy looking very goofy.

He's on my ticket!

Sexy woman. The guy wants to hug you.

After the parade we went to try the Buzz thing again. Actually, we ran. It was worth the run because the queue was basically non-existent when we got there.

We had to shoot evil aliens...

& this dude.

Your hero.

Zoom zoom zoooooom. He walks very fast.

At the gift ship after the whole thing. I loved the hatsss argh!

Hahahhaha he'sa wannabe.

Then we went to visit Hong Kong's forest.

Alright, that was a joke. We went to try the go kart thing.

Trying desperately to take a picture with him.

Oooooooh, a lot of romance going on among the workers. ;)

Constant reminder of not bumping into the car ahead.

So not my thing because the tracks are like that(yes, with that concrete jutting out in the middle from the start to the end of the track). My brother enjoyed the multiple strong bumps I have him! :D

Overpriced.

Malaysia's national flower. No?

Not my picture but look at that girl's expression, the one sitting next to the man).

2nd rollercoaster ride. We used our fast track thing.

-_- what kind of angle is this. It's taken by my brother.

Chio girls.

Caught the water parade before leaving!

Where we saw quite freaky looking bushes/trees.

There was evil Goofy who lets out an evil laughter every 5 seconds.

Alice in Wonderland again. I didn't see Alice here though.

Your girlfriends. (couples use those terms don't they? Less of the ducks though. I wonder why)

I am quite curious about what kind of stare was this woman giving to Marie.

Don't think I don't know where you are looking at.

Stitch sprinking his pee around.

Well, they did warn us.

Aww, this is what I call a cute couple. :D

Mulan.

I don't know what's her name. Sleeping beauty!?

I don't think I saw beast anywhere.

A very fair Cinderella.

...beauty pageant.

NOW THIS IS FREAKY. HAHAHAHAHA

They knew how to sing in cantonese. Very interesting.

Now we know that it's this man who's driving the freaky looking bushes/trees.

Alice! Byebye!

Marie yawned! O_O

This is very Hollywood. Cinderella was quite short and plump btw. Quite cute!

Gotcha! She said.

Mulan quietly walks away.

The 5 princesses present. Look at Mulan!

The grasshopper dude and Pinocchio.

Hehhehehh.

Eeeeeeeeeeeyore.

Loner Pooh.

Some dancer with this very cool stick.

Scary costumes again. -_-

Here comes Mr Lee the soldier cum fire fighther!

Come into my arms~

Close up of Mr Lee.

Disneyland sucks on kids' energy.

You'r welcome. (that pink girl is very random)

On the way back to Parklane Hotel.

One week into the trip and we are going back to Macao. This was taken while waiting to board the ferry. Hahaha, for Samantha Cheng(who won't be reading this, sadly).

Macao! Parents want to go gamble at Wynn Casino. They said they are more familiar there.

My sister and me.

This is where we stayed on the last day in Macao.

...

Macao's bus stop.

An attempt to take picture with the Macao tower/Tower of Macao.

This tunnel links Lisboa to Wynn. & I don't think many couple make out there because it lacks of privacy and it's freaking hot in there.

Haha, with a real tower and fake sun.

In Wynn, & about to get rejected by bouncers.

Well, we went to take more pictures after being bounced. & saw a lot of chio bu while doing so. :D

Lisboa and Grand Lisboa at the background.

This is Grand Lisboa. Very grand indeed.

The casino.

Alright, wrong angle.

With the statue guarding Grand Lisboa entrance.

We were there to see the olympic torch.

As my brother emo away at a distance.

HELLO, THIS IS THE OLYMPIC TORCH! It was supposed to be more of me showing my ability to carry/balance the torch on my palm.

Statue of liberty.

This was supposed to be rocker pose. Somehow a little bit of baseball-ness got into him.

Another ...

Hahaha what the shit I didn't even know he was in there at that moment.

Back in Lisboa. I don't know that they were trying to do. I just take the pictures.

HAHAHAHHA! He didn't do it in the end.

He's starting to get high.

In the lift! Group photo. :D

With Ekozzaaaaaa.

Ha ha ha very funny. They were trying to steal the pictures.

Oh, Lisboa had this cute thing at the room entrance...

It looks like an ipod right! But it's a door bell. Haha~

8th day and away from Macao!

Being welcomed by Sarawak. -_-

Finally. That's a lot of pictures, agreed?
