I've enjoyed my holiday. In fact, too much slacking, skyping and shopping. (note all the "S"s) MINIMAL ACADEMIC! I looked through my maths file with my notes and is finally hit with the fact that I've learnt nothing new during term time. Like seriously, I'm screwed. I've been telling myself, "Okay, catch up during holidays. Chill, chill. Take it easy in year 1~" Yea. I'VE RELAXED SO MUCH THAT I'VE COMPLETELY NEGLECTED MY WORK! At least for Maths and Accounts. Le sob. So much self-study is needed and I'm definitely not the person who is disciplined enough. :'(
I miss the days when we are actually given enough homework to ensure that we know our things well! Omg, crazy & nerd much. But it's true. It's definitely better than being pushed into this foreign land of Maths with minimal necessities.
Enough of depressing stuff. Boxing day was awesome! This year I experienced shopping at 7AM and queued up for the very first time to get into shops! Actually only Zara. I bought too many things there, considering that their sale is only like 30-50%. Everyone there basically grabs and pays!! Best to join them and not be left out, right? Good buys at Zara though e.g. faux fur gillet at £29.90! Other than Zara, Christmas Eve shopping at Topshop and Urban Outfitters. They were both not too bad. UO's things are always over-priced even after sale anyway -before further reductions-. Nevertheless, I walked home with 2 big shopping bags. So far I've bought 5 pairs of shoes which includes 1 pair of knee high black boots. Typing this out makes me heart race gleefully... Shopping and cheap buys really thrills me. :D
I cannot believe half of my winter break is already gone. Must. Start. Work.
