Quite a few of us(CTC kids) decided to skip a day of school to attend University of London Open Day. Basically, University of London refers to most Universities situated in London, e.g. UCL, LSE, King's College. Imperial isn't in the UL group though. I heard that they decided to become independent or something. Anyway, the whole event was average. There wasn't much for me since most of the Universities in London does not have Accounting and Finance, which I don't know why. It'll be damn good if UCL have the course. ;)
Nevertheless, Serene, Calvin, Syazwan and I visited a couple of universities. We went to see UCL(of course) and School of Oriental and African Studies(SOAS). UCL is formed of multiple buildings. It's reminds me of like, a district. & each department feels quite distant from one another. I like the main building though. It has patches of nice green grass which give the warm typical university feel(like those on TV hehe). SOAS on the other hand,... it was kind of sad. The main building is quite old on the inside. There were some parts of the school, like the Library, which I find scary. It's like a scene where you can film a horror movie in. Haha~ but Serene finds it cosy.
& Calvin is very cool. He claimed that he wants to take Physics when the Student Advisor from UCL asked him which course he's applying to. Damn funny!
After visiting UCL & SOAS, we had lunch with Jooooooooooooooooanne! She cut her hair, ahah~ Then Serene and I went off to shop(she wants to make full use of the 13 pounds ticket) while the 2 guys went to visit some other universities. I think it's Queen Mary and/or King's. A stopover at Starbucks made me discover quite a few things resulting in me going"WHAAAAAAT!". Hahah, very interesting indeed. We all met before dinner and went off to Misato. I want some more udon!
