Lousy job in stapling the booklet together.
6 days ago, I went to attend my secondary school's 166th Speech Day. Completed quite a number of tasks like collecting my graduation certificate, meet ex-schoolmates, ex-teachers, et cetra. I forgot to collect my yearbook though, which means I will be heading back once more and soon. What the shit. Hmm, maybe I should photocopy my documents there too.
The event itself wasn't very thrilling. Over-expectations of the performances brought about quite a bit of disappointment. Hehe, last year's Speech Day was still better since the guest-of-honour was none other than ex-girl Eunice Olsen. She's Eurasian + Miss Singapore 2000 + Nominated MP + very tall & pretty. Oh, plus moments when everyone totally lost control and cheered like there's no tomorrow for Christina Suresh and Laoshi(half of our class). Well, we were told not to give wolf-cries(aka cheers) or inconsistent clappings to express our favours for any of the prize winners so that they won't feel intimidated or whatever nonsense. Hehe, those fun days. :D
On the way to school I felt the nostalgia. It was even better though because it was raining and I didn't have to wake up at 6AM. There were some changes like that building in front. It used to be Singpost building. & in 174 I saw a very inconsiderate girl:
She was sitting like as if the whole bus is hers. Look at her frigging legs! I think she moved it away one stop before reaching SMSS.
I went straight into the general office once I got down the bus to collect my graduation certificate. On the way there, I saw Mr Lee who was being an ass like as if he got Alzheimer's. It's a long story and it's quite disgusting to repeat it after a few times.
Mr Lee is the guy on the right seated next to the white shirt guy whom I forgot his name. He was quite famous at one point in time. Thanks to the ex-pure Geography girls.
Yan Yu with Annette's passion for world peace. She succeeded in tricking a lot of people saying that she's heading overseas for college.
The admin. staff were still as inefficient. I had to wait for 30 minutes for it.
Marion Tan & her endless boring speech.
St Margaret's tradition.
Annette & Me.
She's the GoH for the year. I wished I had my camera last year. -_-
Mrs Irene Chua.
Boredom. I always wondered why the school hall lights appear to be green at first.
Annette told me to take a picture of Huinah's golden hair.
Ms latecomer + SMSS karaoke女郎 + SA's drama queen(aka Rachel Tay) and Airu~ :D
Rachel felt very bitter about 2 things:
1)She fell short of 1A in order to get her name published in the lousy booklet.
2)Gabby won the Pure History prize and she's not even present to claim her award. Wts. I feel bitter about this too.
There you go.
Hmm, please claim your pictures. Most likely to be Annette's chums because she's always telling me to take pictures of them.
Apologies for the soul-moving-out-of-the-body pictures.
This is obviously Xing Ying.
& this is easy too. Golden hair = Hui Nah.
Amrita's rival for life.
Mrs Shum, very hilarious appearance.
Not the best form teacher you could even get. He'll never make it into the list. Oh, he's the school's policeman too. Cool eh?
Look Ms Choo is just a couple of people away from her rumoured... good friend.
The guy who brought us much laughter on Teacher's Day last year, Mr Chan
Mr Low, my ex-Biology teacher. The way he say peanut is the best.
The 2 chio-est teacher we have in school. & I realised they taught me science subjects before! They were awarding the science department, btw.
Antonio, the role model.
Enjoying the fame. Most of the graduates stood up for him~ He was a damn good pure History teacher.
Performance time! I was anticipating Chinese Dance performance which did not even make an appearance. -_-
Some performing arts awardees. I still think Amirah/Hui Min should win last year's award.
Duo-ed. Quite plain and boring to tell you the truth.
Modern dancers.
Indian dancers.
Band + shaky hands.
Opera attempt. The girl on the left was quite good.
Choir.
Rachel trying to pose sexy-ly on the staircase. We were on the way to chiong down over to the canteen. I was laughing until my stomach nearly rupture. She was doing quite well at the beginning but I was busy cracking up.
The familiar alley. (This is the pathway we usually take when we see that the original path is guarded by prefects OR when we didn't have our jackets with us)
Green wall for latecomers.
New banners.
New vending machine.
New benches. The classrooms are somewhat new too. I didn't take the pictures though.
Mila/Ariel and Rachel who are my smuggling food accomplice and Rachel was always the one who nearly back out after seeing there were places in the canteen.
With Amanda Chen and Tessa(small lil' thing!).
Hello Christine :D This is when my camera totally died. -_-
My phone took over the picture taking from then on. & Rachel's phone too.

THIS IS THE NEW TOILET. Oh my shit. Are they trying to encourage obesity? I have no idea.

One of Rachel's antiques.

With Laoshi and her 成语 dress.

Major Yam helped us to take this. I actually forgot that he retired last year & came back for the speech day! I just remembered. Haha.
Robe pictures are with her & I shall embark on another chasing journey.
