Alright, let's get moving. My siblings and I flew over to Sarawak(Kuching, meow) on the 13th(I think) to meet my parents, granny and cousin. We stayed there for a couple of days before setting off to Macao. The rest made full use of surrounding while I spent most of my day in the hotel room. Well, I've been there a lot of times since I was young and have no interest in basking under the super hot sun. So, hotel room is perfect for me while in Kuching. HBO was a great companion, Starworld too.
Macao was wondersome. Even though we didn't even go to St. Paul's and most of the other attractions, it was still worth it. We stayed in Wynn during our stay. It was uber fantastic. Ashley told me about it before but I didn't believe that it was that awesome until I saw it with my very own eyes. There was a casino attached to the hotel at the ground floor and I made acquaintance with one of the bouncers! Wheeeeeeeeeeeee & I won HK$4 from jackpot machine, after deducting capital and liabilities. :D
The portugese tarts in Macao sure does live up to its reputation. It so super good! But heeeeell sinful. A cup of tea helped to wash all the cream down though! Yum. Quite addictive at first. It starts to get sickening after you eat too much of it. Shopping there was so-so because HK is the place for it. & that was why dad sandwiched 2 days of it between the Macao trips.
While in HK, we stayed in Park Lane hotel. The same hotel we stayed in during our previous trip(10+ years ago). I must say that it was not as nice as it used to be. The room was pretty small despite that it's deluxe and there was even hacking noise above our room. Geez. But we didn't stay that long in the room anyway. Most of our time was spent shopping(when we morphed into crazy people)/wasted in Disneyland(2nd Day).
I was actually serious when I said wasted my time in Disneyland. HK Disneyland is perfectly suitable for like toddlers and probably some kids which are laid back or enjoy standing for hours under the sun. There's nothing much you can do in a theme park with only 1 indoor roller coaster ride(very cooling, which is good) and a very specified route for your go-kart(the route is like fitted between your wheels, making it impossible to move right/left) amongst many kiddy rides. I got an immediate tan from the visit, so did the 3 people who went along with me(siblings and cousin).
My parents and the tanned Disney troop decided to make the rest of our 2nd day in HK worth it by spree-ing in Times Square. Dad found the shopping centre with his very good sense of direction. It was a pity that we didn't find it on the first day though, there was so many things to buy! & so many shops were having final sales. I wonder how many good stuff I left behind in HK. :(
Anyway, we went back to Macao(more gambling for parents and tourist shots for us) on the next day and then Sarawak on the subsequent day. Camped over at Sarawak(for me) for another couple of days before my mother, sister and I head back to Singapore. The whole family(except granny and brother) fell ill on the last day. I suspect that Sarawak's roadside food was the culprit. Sheesh, never totally believe in their hygene level. We rested in for two days before we had enough energy to tell everyone we are back here.
Hmm, I shall post pictures taken on the 1st half of the trip(before HK).
On the way to Changi! :D
Singapore flyer. Soon. :)
Sister &...
Brother and cab uncle.
Trolley rides are such joy.
We spent our time in Changi shopping,...
...visiting the random places(and emoing)...
...like this one(hmm)...
...drinking coffee...
...and finally settled down to watch discovery channel.
The next thing I knew, I was dozing away in the hotel room in Sarawak.
Not much change on the 2nd day.
Hello HBO! :D
We set off to Macao on the 3rd day. This is my cousin, Eko, and my brudddeeeeeeeeerrrrrr(Ekky).
It was quite a scary ride because there were scary turbulence which nearly scare the soul out of my body.
My paternal ah ma.
One third of ah ma, Eko, Me and half of sister. We booked the whole plane(kidding).
HELLO MACAO~~
Eko was very delighted because he's one step closer to HK Disneyland(& maybe the vibration too, hmm).
Uni Air?
Macao tower! (or is it called Tower of Macao?)
Passed by on the way to Wynn from the airport.
& there it was. :D
That's a view of Grand Lisboa from the back of the cab.
I was pleasantly surprised after seeing Wynn was uber cool.
My ah ma wanted to pose with it, haha.
4th day, we were ALL supposed to go to the casino for a morning game but I was denied entrance and my acquaintance wasn't there. Ah well, so ah ma, sister and I hanged around the pool while parents brother and Eko went to play.
Hehe.
Chilling, yo!
Me and ah ma looking at yan dao dealers walking past.
It reads no entry under the age of 18. Sheesh.
In the lift. They had a lot of mirrors around! :D
That's MGM for you.
Macao tower/ Tower of Macao.
View of the water fountain thing.
Brilliant shows in every 15 minutes intervals.
Some of the casinos/hotels around. (all pictures taken above ground level, fyi)
Oh, there's this cool phone outside the lift area...
So naturally, we had to pose with it. Here's one with sister looking like as if she's asking for a ransom/ suffering from depression.
Eko and brother had enough fun in the casino so they came into our room to chill.
& gay around of course.
Post-gay moment.
飞机!
We all went shopping with mom after parents decided to take a break from gambling.
Never forget the brands. My Versace♥
& Chanel♥
Oh, Wynn has a lot of branded shop lined next to each other on the ground floor(also where the casino is). It's very convenient. :D
Eko and a little bit of Macao's colourful lights.
Messy fringe. -_-
We were waiting for mom and siblings to finish stocking up on Macao delights. (They never really did anyway)
We don't even know it's famous or not. Hmm.
Back in hotel to fool around a little bit while parents are in the casino once more.
Oh, there's this snack bar in the room which I find kind of sickening because...
...it has pressure censor! They charge you if you take something out for more than 60s or put things on the tray. I don't know how they will charge the latter.
Very huge room & beds.
& closet & MIRROR!! I like it very much. ;)
A cool variety of TV channels too.
I was watching some American potrayed Russian drama about some Doctor. It's nice & the woman is very chio.
That's it for the first half of the trip! Got to start worrying what to wear now. Someone is being very selective even though she's not going. @#$%^&*
